You will need: The contents of this kit, an electric oven,  oven mitts, and a baking tray.

 

1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees C.

2. Cover the baking tray with baking paper.

3. Spoon your crystals into heart shape.

4. Place a bead near the centre of the top of the heart of crystal;

5. Place in the oven for 10-15mins until crystals have melted together.

6. Remove from oven with oven mitt.  Allow to cool. (When heated the crystals are very hot!) 

7. Attach your string to your decoration to hand in the window.

Alternatives: Try making different shapes by using your straw to arrange the  crystals on the baking paper instead of using the heart template.

 

NOTE: Some smells may occur during heating if this is so reduce the oven temperature and increase the melting time.
